About

By Synarcade Audio-Visuals and directed by Mark Bolotin. Supported by Riverside’s National Theatre of Parramatta and NIDA X

Cinema is dead.

A projection of the past… shown in a rectangular frame… watched by a passive audience in the dark.

But what if cinema came alive?

Etc: Breakthrough is a new cinematic and theatrical experience like you’ve never seen before –  playful, provocative and pushing film into a whole new dimension.

It is conceived and directed by Mark Bolotin of Synarcade Audio-Visuals, in conjunction with an intrepid team of artists.

Synarcade Audio-Visuals has created critically-acclaimed large-scale multimedia work across the world – including for the Sydney Opera House, New York Hall of Science, Museum of Modern Art Zagreb, TEDxSydney and many more (www.synarcade.com.au).

After conducting some highly successful initial experiments in 2021, two special showcases of Etc: Breakthrough will be presented at the Lennox Theatre, Riverside Theatres, at 8pm on Friday 14th April and 6.30pm on Saturday 15th April.

Come and see this new experiment in 21st century cinema!
