In the Footprints of Giants

On Friday 19 June, we held a work-in-development reading of Challito Browne’s In the Footprints of Giants. The new work is being developed through our True West program, which supports local artists to create new work grounded in community connection and lived experience.

In the Footprints of Giants invites audiences into an intimate family home and into the hearts and minds of two Lebanese-Australian parents. Spanning a lifetime, the work follows their journey as they navigate the challenges of raising a son between cultures.

A robust discussion took place with invited guests following the read, providing Challito with lots of valuable input to take forward into the next phase of the works development.
