Join National Theatre of Parramatta for our next digital Creative Hello, ‘Creative Business Basics (with a touch of marketing). An informal chat about your creative business on Thursday 20 August (via ZOOM).

This will be an informal and interactive discussion with Monica Davidson from Creative Plus Business hosted Joanne Kee.
For everyone who joins us, there is an opportunity to have four FREE business advice sessions after the event with one of the Creative Plus Business advisors. These are really valuable and the advisors all have industry experience in small to medium organisations.
As always, we will also be sharing resources and tools and there will also be time to meet everyone.

Business Basics (with a Touch of Marketing)

Professional creatives sometimes need a little bit of extra help with the basics of business, including how to do things ‘properly, how to manage the finances, and how to master the marketing. In this informal Q+A, participants can ask all those scary, embarrassing or overwhelming questions they’ve always needed answers to from a friendly and non-judgmental creative industries expert.

All participants will also be given the opportunity to have four FREE business advice sessions after the event with one of the Creative Plus Business advisors.

About Monica

Monica Davidson is an award-winning expert on the creative industries, who began her professional life as a freelance journalist and filmmaker. In 2014 Monica completed her Masters degree in Screen Arts and Business at AFTRS, and was appointed as the first NSW Creative Industries Business Advisor by the Department of Industry. Shortly after she founded the social enterprise Creative Plus Business, which is dedicated to educating creative people about small business and marketing skills. In 2019 Monica the QUT Creative Enterprise Australia award for being a Creative Trailblazer that “advocates, mentors, donates, educates and advises within Australia’s creative economy”.
